Thursday mornings are a special time at Heschel, when our Junior High students and teachers gather for Tefillah b’Tzibur. There are many beautiful Heschel traditions during our prayer service, but one of the most heartwarming is when we sing the Mi Sheberakh, or Jewish prayer of healing. We think of our loved ones, those in our community and in the greater community, who may be in need of physical, emotional or spiritual healing.
In these difficult times, we are missing these special Heschel moments. Although we cannot come together physically at this time, this Thursday morning we wanted to share this beautiful recording, performed by our very talented Morah Orly B and Moreh Josh.
