Open Houses and events are a wonderful way to learn about Heschel’s unique educational philosophy and to see the ways in which it permeates every aspect of the school, from curriculum and teaching methods, to the design of classrooms and timetables, to community-building.

Join us at The Toronto Heschel School for our AWEsome and WONDERful Tot Shabbat on Fridays from 10:00 to 11:00 am! This is an interactive adult and child celebration where you and your little one will see, hear, touch, smell, and taste the awe and wonder of Shabbat. We offer arts and crafts, an interactive Shabbat circle, a sing-along with our very own Moreh Eldan, and you take home your own yummy challah. For children aged 6 months to 2 years old.

This event aims to give parents a good sense of what makes Heschel special, and is a can’t-miss event if you are researching Jewish day schools in Toronto. Learn about who we are, what we do, and how our students’ journey allows them to emerge as creative, critical thinking, confident mensches upon graduation.
This is a great opportunity to hear from the school’s educational leadership team, current parents and students, and to take a tour of the school while it’s in session if you have not visited previously.
