Hi everyone! If you have not heard, on Wednesday, May 22nd, we will be having a public forum to talk about the Heschel garden “Master Plan”.

What is this exactly?

It all started about a year ago. A small group of Heschel parents got together and started to discuss what the garden could look like in 8 -10 years. They hired a graphic designer to better visualize what the plan could look like. The exciting plan included a gazebo, outdoor amphitheatre, a mud pit, and even a greenhouse. However, these things cost money and take time. It can’t happen overnight.

Some students pointed out that the plan would end up eliminating the area where the younger students play soccer. A teacher or parents wouldn’t have known that, so it was very helpful that those students gave their opinions.

This is the reason why the forum is happening. We need teachers, parents, alumni, and most importantly students to come and share their ideas.

There will be two forums on Wednesday, May 22. One will start at 4:30 pm and the other will start at 7:30 pm.

We hope to see you there!
