The entire Heschel community gathered last night at the annual Family Picnic which draws the school year just about to a close. A laid-back and casual affair with no pre-planned activities, parents schmoozed while children flew kites, played soccer-baseball and tetherball, did gymnastics and just hung out. Families were invited to bring food or had the option of ordering from our Hot Lunch program. 37 pizzas later, no one went hungry! Blessed with perfect weather for the event, kids played and families lingered until the sun went down.
