On February 22, the entire Junior High went up to Blue Mountain to have fun skiing and snowboarding. Everyone arrived at school at 5:45 am to get on the buses. It was an early start! In the morning, we had lessons on how to ski or ride safely. We were also taught how to safely use the ski lifts. Some students had never skied before but by the end of the day, they were on challenging hills. As students got better, their instructors would give them a sticker on their ticket to show that they could do the next level hills and let them go on different chairlifts. After lunch, we split into groups based on our capabilities, and we were paired with a chaperone. Our groups could go on any hills we wanted. This trip was a very fun experience and we are excited to go again next year.

טיול סקי של חטיבת הביניים התחיל בנסיעה ל- Blue Mountain בשעה 5:45 בבוקר. לאחר שעתיים של נסיעה הגענו עיפּיים ונרגשים לקראת הפעילות. לאחר שעה חילקו אותנו לשלוש קבוצות לפי הרמה של כל תלמיד. כל קבוצה לפי הקצב שלה למדה כיצד לעשות סקי. בסיום הלמידה עשינו מבחן ואז התחלנו לעשות סקי חופשי. לאחר שעתיים של סקי חופשי נפגשנו כולם ביחד לאכול ארוחת צהריים.
לאחר הארוחה החלפנו קבוצות והמשכנו לגלוש חופשי.
היו חוויות רבות: תלמידים נפלו על השלג, תלמיד אחד הלך לאיבוד, קיין מכיתה ח’ נכנס למשה במסלול שלו במזל לא קרה כלום לאף אחד, והנסיעה באוטובוס הייתה מאוד כיפית.
בשעה 3:30 הפסקנו את הגלישה והתכוננו לעלות לאוטובוסים. חזרנו לבית ספּר ב 6:30, וכולם הלכו לבית שלהם בסוף. היום של הסקי היה מהנה מאוד.
