After School Programs | Fall 2019

Toronto Heschel School is pleased to notify you that the following After School Programs will be offered starting Monday, September 16, 2019 and will end on Thursday, December 19, 2019. 

After school programmes offered at The Toronto Heschel School are considered to be an extension of the school day. Policies and practices stated in the parent handbook, on student conduct and code of behaviour, apply during all after school programmes. All providers have the discretion to remove a student from a programme, either temporarily or permanently, if that child’s conduct is deemed unacceptable.

Classes will run subject to minimum enrollment.

Class sizes will be limited due to space restriction.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Register EARLY to avoid disappointment.

Please write a separate cheque for each program. 

There will be NO REFUNDS after the second class of each programme.

Elementary students, who are dismissed prior to the beginning of their program, will be picked up by their instructors from Kids’ Club. Parents should send an additional snack for their child/ren to have during this time.

Parents are expected to arrive promptly at the end of each program for pick-up.

Program instructors will wait 5 minutes for parents to arrive before taking students to Kids’ Club.

Programs will run Mondays through Thursdays beginning Monday, September 16, 2019.

Monday (11 Sessions):

• Kinder Drama (JK – SK)
• Chess Club (SK – Grade 8)
• Music Exploration Program for Beginners (Grade 4 – Grade 8)

Tuesday (10 Sessions):

• Masterchef Kids: Baking Edition (JK – Grade 6)
• Mad Science: NASA Academy of Future Space Explorers (Grades 1 – Grade 5)
• Yoga (Grade 1 – Grade 3)
• Wanda’s Creative Clay (JK – Grade 5)
• Rock Band for Experienced Musicians (Grade 4 – Grade 8)

Wednesday  (10 Sessions):

• Little Fingers Keyboard Class (JK- Grade 2)
• The Heschel Makerspace (Grade 3 Grade 8)
• Karate (JK – Grade 2)
• Rock Band for Experienced Musicians (Grade 4 – Grade 8)
• Musical Theatre (Grade 3 – Grade 8)
• Kinder Science: Discovery Lab (JK – SK)

Thursday (9 Sessions):

• Junior Drama (Grade 1 – Grade 3)
• Clapboard Kids Film Workshops (Grade 1 – Grade 5)
• Garden Club (All Grades)
