Hebrew Early Childhood Assistant – Full Time

The Toronto Heschel School Seeks a warm and dynamic Hebrew Speaking Early Childhood Educator Assistant for our preschool room starting in September 2024.

The Toronto Heschel Early Years Program is dedicated to supporting children’s learning,
development, health and well-being through caring and responsive Early Childhood
Educators, who focus on active learning, exploration, play and inquiry.

Our program promotes positive self-esteem, curiosity, creativity, problem solving skills and
Jewish identity by providing materials and experiences that allow children to engage their
natural curiosity and enthusiasm.

Qualifications:

• Fluent Hebrew Speaking with the ability to teach Ivrit b’Ivrit
• Is able to incorporate hebrew learning experiences into all daily routines
• Is able to assist the children in all daily routines which are aimed at
  enhancing the children’s cognitive, physical and social and emotional
  development.
• Works well within a team
• Has the ability to easily form relationships with coworkers, parents and
  children
• Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C training certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Up to date health and immunization records
