REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2019/2020

HESCHEL PLAYERS MAINSTAGE MUSICAL PRODUCTION:

Yes, it’s that time again! The Heschel Players team is ready and eager to start work on another fabulous school play and we want you to join the fun!! The creative minds behind last year’s hit “Alice in Wonderland JR” welcome new and returning performers in grades 3 through 8 to join us for more singing, dancing and acting fun. Come on out and join us!! Here’s what you need to know:

Open to students in grades 3 & up

Rehearsals held Wednesdays from 4:15pm-6:15 pm, select Sundays in March plus one PD day and one Passover Break day.

Audition day: Sunday, December 8, 2019 (sign up below)

After school Wednesday Rehearsals: January 8, 15, 22 29, February 5, 19, 26, March 4, 11, 18, 25 April 1, 22, 29, 2020.

Sunday Rehearsals: March 1 and 15, 2020.

PD day rehearsal: Feb. 12, 2020

PLUS one additional daytime rehearsal during Passover break:

Tentative date: April 6, 2020 (TBC)

Dress rehearsal: Sunday, April 26, 2020 (full day)

Performances: Monday, April 27th and Thursday, April 30th, 2020. 7:30 pm at Fairview Library Theatre

Cost: $485 per participant

 

NOTE: This course spans two full terms of afterschool programming as well as extra daytime auditions, rehearsals and dress/tech rehearsals amounting to over 42 hours in total. Please carefully consider the time commitment involved before registering as this is a group activity which relies on full attendance and participation and note all the dates above to confirm your child’s availability, especially extra full day rehearsals. OUR POLICY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM of 4 hours of absences (2 regular or one long rehearsal). We reserve the right to reassign roles and/or require make up lessons with an additional fee due to poor attendance. By doing so we can continue to provide quality, educational arts programming and a positive performance experience for everyone.

In addition, policies and practices stated in the parent handbook, particularly pertaining to student conduct and code of behaviour, apply during this activity as with all other after school programs.

The program fee of $485 per student (including tax) includes 40 plus rehearsal hours, keepsake script, all rehearsal materials and rental costume for one performance. To register, please fill out the registration form by Friday, Nov. 15th, 2019.

This program fills up quickly so please register early to avoid disappointment!
