Tu Bishvat, the 15th of the Hebrew month of Shevat, is the “New Year of the Trees”, a festival of renewal, a celebration of nature, and a holiday of the environment.
The 17th-century Kabbalists of Tzefat celebrated Tu Bishvat with a special Seder featuring different types of fruits.
