Grade eight students participated in the Sparks for Change program last week to meet with Arab-Israeli and Jewish-Israeli teens and their teachers. Students compared similarities and differences between their lives, and gained an invaluable perspective about one another.

The Tikshoreth committee interviews Junior High students about yesterday’s Purim activities. In Junior High, students connected the characters from the Purim story to different leadership styles and the attitude each leader displays towards giving tzedakah to the homeless.
Two grade six students interview one another about the plays they wrote and performed today. Their plays compared and contrasted similar narratives in Greek mythology and the Chumash around the theme of Fate vs. Free Will.
