Welcome to The Toronto Heschel School Open House Draw!

Please review the following rules before participating:

Contest Eligibility:

• The contest is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of The Toronto Heschel School and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Methods of Entry:

• For Current Heschel Families: To enter the contest, participants must tag a prospective parent/guardian in the comments section of the designated contest post on our official social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram).
• For Prospective Families: To enter the contest, participants must attend our Spring Open House on March 20, 2024, or have attended the Fall 2023 Open House. Individuals attending both events are only eligible for one entry. Prospective families may also tag other prospective families to win.

Conditions to Satisfy Before Participants Can Win:

• All attendees of the Spring Open House on March 20, 2024 are eligible for the draw.
• Taggers must ensure that the tagged individual attends the Open House event on March 20th, 2024, to be eligible for the joint prize.
  • If more than one family tags the winning attendee, the tuition discount will go to the first family that tagged the winner. 
• Open House attendees from Fall 2023 will also be automatically included in the draw. However, tagging them will not result in a current parent winning the prize, as their attendance is already in the past and their entry into the draw is automatic.

Privacy Notice:

• Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties.

Precise Contest Times, Dates, and Duration:

• The contest begins at 12:30 PM EST on February 21, 2024 and ends at 10:00 AM EST on March 20, 2024. Entries received outside of this timeframe will not be considered.

Circumstances, Time, and Place of Winner Selection:

• The winner will be selected at random from eligible entries on March 20, 2024 after the Spring Open House at The Toronto Heschel School, 819 Sheppard Avenue West, Toronto, ON.
• The selection process will be transparent and conducted in the presence of at least one independent observer.
• The winner(s) will be announced via social media by 4:00 pm on March 20, 2024.

Prizes and Their Value:

• The prize consists of a $500 discount off tuition for the 2024-2025 school year at The Toronto Heschel School.
• If a tagged individual is chosen as the winner, both the tagged individual and the person who tagged them will each receive a $500 discount off tuition for the 2024-2025 school year at The Toronto Heschel School.
• If the prospective family’s child(ren) will not be attending The Toronto Heschel School until the 2025-2026 school year, the prize for both the prospective and tagging families will be deferred for a maximum of one year.
• Each family is eligible for a maximum of one prize.

General Prize Conditions:

• The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash alternative is available.

Products Involved in the Contest:

• This contest is not associated with any products or purchases.

Specific Rules for Minors:

• Minors are not permitted to enter this contest.

Specific Rules for Quebec:

• This contest is void in Quebec.

Clause Allowing Contest Promoter to Void or Modify the Contest:

• The Toronto Heschel School reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues.

Rules About Intellectual Property:

• By entering the contest, participants grant The Toronto Heschel School the right to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes related to the contest.

Liability Limitations and Releases:

• The Toronto Heschel School and its affiliates shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damages incurred by participants during the contest or as a result of accepting or using the prize.

By participating in the contest, participants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of the contest organizers, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.
