Martin Luther King week is where we remember what Martin Luther King Jr. and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel did to make our world a better place. Martin Luther King Jr. fought against racism and Abraham Joshua Heschel fought against anti-semitism. This week, the Tikkun Olam committee created a Martin Luther King Jr. and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel trivia game so students throughout the school could learn more about their lives and accomplishments as well. For the early years’ students, the Tikkun Olam Committee told the story about Martin Luther King Jr. and Rabbi Joshua and made creations to show what they stood for. This was such a great learning experience for everyone.
