On March 12, the Junior High Debate  Team competed in the Jewish Day School Debate Tournament.

This was the first year debating in front of a crowd for us.  We really did not know what to expect and ended up having a fun time.  We learned many useful skills that helped us with practice debates and the tournament.  We also learned the proper ways to address the judges in a debate and how to use interesting, descriptive and more formal words.  Some of the reasons we loved it so much are because we were able to be with our friends and we were able to try something new.

Being a part of the team was an amazing experience.
