On Tuesday, April 29, our Grade 8 class participated in a diversity workshop with Grade 8 students from the As Sadiq school. As it is an Islamic school, we discussed the differences between Judaism and Islam, and we were able to learn a lot about each other’s cultures and beliefs. We also engaged in different activities with the class from As Sadiq, where we were able to learn about more than just each other’s religions. We learned about each other’s likes, dislikes, and hobbies, and had the opportunity to bond and have meaningful conversations. The entire Grade 8 class is very excited for the second part of our diversity workshop, where we will be going to the As Sadiq school and we will have the chance to meet and bond with another amazing Grade 8 class from their school.
