On December 6th and 7th, the Grade 8s took part in the annual Shabbaton. The Shabbaton is an event where we (the grade 8s) go to a chalet in Blue Mountain in order to practice the Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning prayers we are leaning in Learning Tefillah class. It was a great opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better (including the staff and shinshinim) and it was a very meaningful experience. We got to hike up one of the Blue Mountain ski trails and were met with breathtaking views. We also were able to roll down the hill which was so much fun. The Shabbaton was definitely a memorable experience, and we’re so glad that we could be a part of it.
