What’s Jewish About Butterflies?
Program Description: Sign up for a mostly outdoor (but partly indoor) program that will explore nature through a Jewish lens. This nature program will integrate basic science, art, and literacy skills. We will bring out our magnifying glasses, rulers, and sketchbooks to observe and understand the world around us. There will be time for quiet reading, writing, and reflection during a much-needed rest from the sun. And don’t be surprised if we get a little wet while watering the Heschel garden!
Dates: July 13-17, July 20-24, August 4-7, August 10-14

INSPIRING WONDER

Mini Camp Too
Program Description: Immerse yourself in a fun and experiential topic of the day! Move your bodies in dance and drama; create in arts & crafts; listen to and tell stories; discover in nature; build with imagination.
Dates: July 13-17, July 20-24, August 4-7, August 10-14
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Age Group: JK-Grade 1

INSPIRING CREATIVITY

Yoga & Mindfulness
Program Description: This program will explore yoga and mindfulness through movement, stories, games, and art. We will develop self-awareness and calming strategies in a fun and engaging way.
Dates: July 13-17, July 20-24

INSPIRING MINDFULNESS

Sports
Program Description: In this sports program, children will continue to work on the skills they have developed during the year and participate in friendly games of soccer, baseball and basketball. We will also work on strength, agility and endurance through workout routines and fun physical activities.
Dates: July 13-17, July 20-24
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Age Group: Grades 3-5 (Week 1) and Grades 1-3 (Week 2)

INSPIRING EXCELLENCE

Basic Principles of Photography
Program Description: Exploring photography ideas of abstract, perspective, contrast, foreground/middle ground/background, as well as using photography to tell a story.
Dates: July 13-17, July 20-24, August 4-7
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Age Group: Grades 4-8
Space Available: 9 children/week

INSPIRING IMAGINATION

Colourful Fabric Printing with Fruits and Vegetables
Program Description: Join us in discovering the textures of fruits and vegetables we use in our daily lives. Morah Mika and Morah Orna (Morah Mika’s mom and fibre artist) will lead us in colour mixing and printing on fabric using apples, oranges, garlic, onions and much more. Students will develop their own designs to be printed on to fabric, mix colours to fulfill their artistic vision and print a colourful pattern on the fabric using the fruits and vegetables they selected. *Students should bring a snack, a shirt they can get paint on, a water bottle
Dates: two 1-day sessions on July 14th and 21st from 10:00-12:00
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (2 hours)

Cost: $50/day
Age Group: Grades 3-5
Space Available: 8 children/day

Please note:

Once you complete the form below, you will be directed to the PayPal website where you can complete the registration. To secure your spot, payment must be received via PayPal.
There are limited spaces available due to provincial restrictions on how many children can be in a group. A waiting list will be created if a session fills up.
If camp cannot run for any reason, you will be refunded in the following ways:
- If the program has not yet begun, you will be refunded the full amount of the fee, less a 10% fee to cover administrative costs.
- If the program has already begun, you will be refunded for the days missed less a 20% fee to cover administrative and teacher preparation costs.

* Because spaces are limited, we cannot offer refunds for withdrawals after registration that are not due to COVID related factors, unless we are able to fill your spot.

Note: Programs require a minimum enrollment to run. If a program does have sufficient enrollment to run, you will be refunded the full fee, or you can transfer the fee to another program.
