After School Programs | Winter 2019

Toronto Heschel School is pleased to notify you that the following After School Programs will be offered starting Tuesday, January 8, 2019. 

After school programmes offered at The Toronto Heschel School are considered to be an extension of the school day. Policies and practices stated in the parent handbook, on student conduct and code of behaviour, apply during all after school programmes. All providers have the discretion to remove a student from a programme, either temporarily or permanently, if that child’s conduct is deemed unacceptable.

Classes will run subject to minimum enrolment.

Class sizes will be limited due to space restriction.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Register EARLY to avoid disappointment.

Please write a separate cheque for each program. 

There will be NO REFUNDS after the second class of each programme.

Elementary students, who are dismissed prior to the beginning of their program, will be picked up by their instructors from Kids’ Club. Parents should send an additional snack for their child/ren to have during this time.

Parents are expected to arrive promptly at the end of each program for pick-up.

Program instructors will wait 5 minutes for parents to arrive before sending students to Kids’ Club.

Programs will run Mondays through Thursdays beginning January 21, 2019.

Monday (9 Sessions):

• Kinder Drama (JK – SK)
• Zoology (JK – Grade 2) – CANCELLED
• Chess Club (SK – Grade 8)
• Mad Science (SK – Grade 4) – CANCELLED 
• Rock Band – Beginner (Grade 4 – Grade 8) – CANCELLED 

Tuesday (10 Sessions):

• Karate (JK – Grade 2)
• Yoga (JK – Grade 2) – FULL
• Masterchef (Grade JK – Grade 3) – FULL
• Wanda’s Creative Clay (JK – Grade 6) – CANCELLED
• Rock Band – Intermediate (Grade 4 – Grade 8) – CANCELLED

Wednesday  (9 Sessions):

• Little Fingers Keyboard Class (JK- SK)
• Inventor’s Club (Grade 1 – Grade 4) – FULL
• Mainstage Play with the Heschel Players (Grade 3 – Grade 8) *Goes into the Sprint Term* ** FULL **
• Clapboard Kids Film Workshops (Grade 2 – Grade 6) – CANCELLED
• Rock Band – Intermediate (Grade 4 – Grade 8) – CANCELLED

Thursday (8 Sessions):

• Junior Drama (Grade 1 – Grade 3) *14 sessions (goes into Spring Term)* – CANCELLED
• Rebel Girls in Science (Grade 1 – Grade 4) – CANCELLED
• BluePrint Project – Art Workshop (Grade 2 – Grade 8) – CANCELLED
